Got lunch here today and ordered 2 specialty rolls, it ended up being the perfect portion for me. This location is super convenient and the gentleman who took my order/waited on me was very friendly. This is now the 3rd Kusshi location that I've had food from and their consistency is on point, in my eyes if your hungry for sushi you can't go wrong with Kusshi!

Sushi was great, but ramen was even better. Service was friendly and fast. Nit crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Nice artwork on the walls.

First time visiting & it was good. Dining in with beer & sake: Takoyaki: exceptional, definitely order them if visiting. Shrimp Shumai: good. Gyoza: tried steamed and probably be better to order fried. Rolls: Philadelphia & Salmon with Avocado - both good. Suggestions: Takoyaki & Shumai, any rolls. Could skip Gyoza. General information: this place is pretty busy, so you may want to make a reservation for a party. Seating consists of dining room & outside patio. Place itself across from Whole Foods. Parking garage is 5 minutes walk. Pricewise: about 85 with 3 appetizers to share, 2 rolls, sake & beer.

Had the lunch bento set on a slow Friday afternoon. Place was clean and orderly. Service was pleasant and unobtrusive. Food came relatively quickly and was absolutely value for money, pretty authenic and big portions. Tasted friend's ramen and that was good as well.

We had purchased a groupon so we ordered more than we usually would have, using the groupon was really easy! We had shumai and karage for appetizers, both tasted fresh and delicious! Good sharing portions! For entrees we had tempura shrimp don and the kusshi noodle. Again big enough to share! (Hot tip- take the shredded cabbage from the karage to eat with the don!) The noodles were so springy and filling! Bonus order of eel roll and shrimp tempura roll - super fresh and delicious, I think these were adverage sized so it could get pricey quickly. We would definitely come back, the bento boxes looked interesting and there was a snack section with fun KitKat flavours! Be warned drinks are sold individually - 1 can of Sprite was 2.50. Chilled water was available for free at the table.

The prices here are high, but that's kind of what I expected coming in, so I don't consider that a reason to lower my rating. Everything about this restaurant matched my expectations. The eel was particularly delicious. They offer takeout boxes if you don't finish your food. The sushi plates were around 14 to 20 I believe, and they include 8 pieces. We ordered the Maryland and Dragon. The eel bowl that we ordered was 25. The yakisoba was 13.

Thank you so much to the waiters and managers here! They really helped me out when I was traveling from out if town to Silver Spring and didn't know where anything was. They even charged my phone in the back when it was about to die. They made way more options with sushi and sake than any casual sushi place I've ever been to. Great Sushi, Service, and Sake is everything you need out of a night out.

My favorite sushi spot in the area! Service is awesome and staff super friendly. You get the best bang for your buck with their Chirashi bowl and Nigiri sampler. Fish is always fresh.
